A worrying new trend has emerged in Johannesburg where everyone is a target and the ruthlessness of thieves is rivaled only by their brazen behavior. Recently, this article went viral, drawing attention to this phenomenon, but as is the case with most crimes in South Africa, they are forgotten. However, this topic is close to our hearts as some of our employees have unfortunately become victims of this crime.

We want to keep the noise around these increasing incidents out and try to prevent others from becoming victims. We asked some senior employees for their advice on how to prevent this from happening.

Hide or stash any valuables in the trunk if possible, nothing says you have money like a laptop in the front seat.
